The City's administrative offices are located at 3800 University Boulevard, West University Place, Texas 77005. Normal business hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday except holidays.

The Department of Administration is responsible to the City Council for the efficient delivery of City services. The City Manager serves as chief administrative officer and has day-to-day responsibility for the operation of all City activities. The City Secretary is responsible for the City Council and for maintaining ordinances, resolutions, meeting minutes, and legally required publications. The City Attorney provides City Council with general counsel, litigation, contract review, and ordinance review.
