The Public Works Department is responsible for managing zoning, all building activities, contractor registration, plan review, building permits and inspections, code enforcement, animal control, solid waste and recycling management, water and sewer maintenance, streets and drainage, traffic control, mosquito control, fleet maintenance, facility maintenance, and major construction projects.
Our department goal is to provide the best possible service and quality of life for our citizens. For assistance, please contact Customer Service at 713.662.5839. If you’d like to visit us in person, we’re located at 3826 Amherst, and are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
